Love this — longing to be connected to nature this deeply & I really only feel it up north. I think there’s something sacred about the Great Lakes, that bring everyone together. Can’t wait to have a home up there 🥹

I agree that the Great Lakes feel so sacred; I am always grateful for the ways water connects people together. I have met so many wonderful people over our shared love of the Great Lakes. I know it doesn't only exist here, but it certainly feels like a different way of life than I experienced when living in cities. Here's to finding your place here eventually.

I love how you storytell your thoughts here! I have been to (and felt) this deep connection to nature, myself or the world in general in quite different places. And maybe, because I moved a lot, I never really thought that there is just ONE special place.

I love to think about the moon in this sense. Like the magic experieced by watching the moon during a full moon party in Thailand is a universal magic that is also experienced by someone sitting on a tiny balcony in the heart of Paris - the moon is still the same that is looked at!
